How to use

Frequently asked questions
Does upscaling an image improve its quality?
No. Enlarging stretches the existing pixels instead of adding detail, so the result can look blurry. It is always better to start from a high-resolution original and scale down.
What does the aspect-ratio lock do?
When enabled, entering just the width or the height automatically computes the other dimension from the original ratio, so the image is never distorted.
What is the maximum allowed size?
Each dimension can range from 1 up to 8000 pixels, which covers virtually every common use while keeping the browser stable.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
