  2. Enter the value you want to convert.
  3. Pick the source and target units from the two dropdowns.
  4. Read the result instantly, and browse the table to see the value in every unit.

Frequently asked questions

Is the gallon here US or imperial?

The converter uses the US gallon (3.785 liters), the most common in everyday use. The imperial gallon is larger at about 4.546 liters.

How are data units calculated?

They use the binary system: each kilobyte is 1024 bytes, each megabyte is 1024 kilobytes, and so on — matching how operating systems report storage.

How are temperature conversions done?

Temperature uses dedicated formulas rather than fixed ratios: Fahrenheit = Celsius × 9/5 + 32, and Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15.

How precise are the displayed results?

Results show up to six significant digits with trailing zeros removed, while the internal calculation runs at full precision without pre-rounding.
